Digger Street postcode 4870 (346) qualifies for the second year visa.
DIAC monitors the information provided in applications lodged via their online system and closely scrutinizes the specified work done, including contacting us and cross checking the information provided, make sure your stays are noted in our guestbook as DIAC.
We will ask for a photocopy of the form 1263 after you have signed it and keep that with the relevant guestbook entry.

Digger Street accepts online Wwoofing applications, please note that during the peak season July through October Digger street has only rare vacancies, book in advance is suggested.

The application is filling out the Wwoofing Application form which includes a short introduction to Diggerstreet.
If we are happy having new WWOOFers coming you will get a positive response which includes which parts of the website to read before arriving to make it easier for you to get in the processes straight away.
WWOOFers spend 3 hours of the first day in the kitchen learning about communal food processes.
The second day`s focus is the garden. WWOOFers will learn about permaculture design, food production and food plants in the tropics.
From there on WWOOFers are participating in the community by working in and thereby learning about gardening, keeping communal spaces clean and maintaining them.
The newest WWOOFer will take on a Food Preparation Area Organizer role. One WWOOFer will be responsile for watering the garden every evening. If he/she isn’t around to do it this person makes sure that the task gets taken over by another community member.
The WWOOFers take notes about what they learn, to be able to report it afterwards. The last hour of everyday is getting the notes down into a text document which gets send to:

These documents help Digger Street to run smoothly and will be used to update a current open source document to enable ourselves & others to learn from it so that anyone can set up their own community anywhere in the world. Everything else which is not yet online is helpful.
If a willing worker wishes to stay beyond their week as a willing worker they can choose to become a willing renter if there is a room available.
Our weekly Wednesday meeting for all residents is where your participation from the day you arrive is vital and where we as a community decide on community projects, living and processes.
