Leaderless system means that every process that you find at Diggerstreet is implemented by one of the previous resident. (How to collect the rent, how and where to order food, how to use the space, ...)
And that's information on the webside for other places throughout the world.
This means when you come and bring the smallest idea in that helps form in a way that you see an improvement for the community from whatever value perspective, (becomming more green, like reusing glasjars for storing by labeling them new or making cleaning easier or the watering system more efficient ...) and you can thereby influence the system.
Instead of complaining about something change it.

We form our opinion by learning and experiencing therefore it is essential to have different opinions to consider.
Especially speaking up about personal topics will help others to be more honest about themselves, too.
Examples:
In order to facilitate smooth operations of certain aspects of the community, one person may choose to take on a particular role within the community, such as Food Organizer or Groundskeeper. This doesn't mean that person is solely responsible for doing all the work in those areas - they are simply the individuals who help facilitate operations in these areas.
On the first day you read up about communal cooking under processes and concepts and the Food Preparation Organizer document so that you know how the kitchen runs.(This is not part of the 4 hours) Then implement this knowledge for your time at Diggerstreet. And make sure that the kitchen is presentable at anytime. You also feed the chicken everymoning when you start your day.Everything that is unclear, ask and write it down in a way that someone that reads it can do it. Part of the under standing of the kitchen are the communal dinners so participate and even initiate them if no one else steps up to start the cooking by asking the people you met to help you.
The second day you spend in the garden. Most important is that it gets watered a lot every evening when there is no rain. You make sure that the garden beds are weeded (vines, grass, other weeds [pictures below]).
Moreover cut up and throw old palm leaves that dropped on the paths or other free areas back into the jungle areas, to mulch those and maintain the djungle. Thereby you will also explore the whole area of the 4 properties. If you see any rubbish or other things that make the place look messy please show responsible behavior and thus keep the place beautiful.
On your third day you check through all the communal spaces including the toilets of the houses and do what needs to be done. The cleaning utensils are stored in the garage area of 346.

Take the rest of the day and your last day to practice what you have learned continue with things you haven’t finished on the other days and your reporting.
For the reporting start out with remembering what you did during the first 3 hours of the day in half an hour intervals.
You are part of the community from the beginning on so feel free to use the place and be an active, responsible participants in the described processes while help the place to be presentable at any time.

Feeding every day:
1. chook food container in kitchen, mixed with 1 or 2 scoops of scatter grain mix
2. a few banana leaves, cut from low down on banana plants
3. chook porridge – other bucket of chook food- about 2 scoops, mixed with equal parts water and chopped-up chilis (about 1 chilli per animal). Given to the chickens in 2 containers to make sure that all the birds get some.
4. any grass and weeds from gardening during the day

Cleaning -surfaces, all fridges, dish drying shelves, coffee machine, sweeping floors of kitchen, store rooms and outside areas Sorting new food supplies when they arrive from the market- putting fruit and veggies in fridge- putting older food in an obvious position so it gets used before the new stuff. Dry food like onions, ginger and whole pumpkins go in the storage racks, keeping potatoes out of the light. Refilling small containers in the kitchen- honey, rice etc from larger containers in storage room Emptying compost bucket into active compost bin in the garden every morning

Cutting back dead parts of plants in the garden (tomatoes: leaving 1 or 2 main branches – possible to get a second crop during the wet?) Picking papayas that are starting to turn yellow so that the birds or bats don’t eat them first!
