Vegetable Garden
The vegetable garden is in the backyard of 344 and 346. There is a compost heap in 344.
Feel free to involve yourself in the growth of the garden, i.e weeding, planting seedlings, morning and afternoon watering etc. Please see garden/grounds/WWOOFer co-ordinator first for ideas, specific tasks & general focuses at any specific time to help maintain continuity of garden plan.

General Grounds
There is always a lot to do in the garden and whenever you can lend a hand, please do by:

Taking any dead looking palm frond or branch and take to a green waste heap in 344.
Doing a rubbish hunt and picking up any bottle tops, glass and rubbish you see on the ground as move around the property.

Weeding around the site especially any of the plants that are especially vigorous in their growth such that they are detrimental to the food producing & indigenous plants. Please check in with the garden/grounds/WWOOFer co-ordinator & or the garden plan.

Warning – COCONUT TREE – Please be aware that we do have a giant coconut tree in the middle of the community, contemplation under this tree is not advised!.
